During lockdown, the world retreated behind closed doors, and our windows became the only connection to the lives around us. Looking out, we realized apartment buildings weren't so different from an Instagram grid, both offering glimpses into the lives of strangers.
So we turned Instagram into a virtual apartment building, where every post became a window into a digital neighbour's life. A place where strangers could connect, scroll, and sonder.

The project didn't end once people moved in. I curated every new resident, wrote responses in the voice of the neighbourhood, and encouraged strangers to visit each other's apartments, helping transform an Instagram page into a living community.
