The UAE is one of the world's fastest-growing digital economies, yet recycling remains surprisingly inaccessible. People invest in invisible digital assets every day, while discarded plastic remains virtually worthless.
Recycling only works when waste becomes valuable. And so, we gave plastic a currency of its own:

We took Trash to Cash to Web3 with Al Ain Recycle for Drops Initiative.
We took Trash to Cash to Web3 with Al Ain Recycle for Drops Initiative.
We installed smart recycling stations across the UAE's premium destinations, where users earned Drops for every bottle they recycled. The more people participated, the more valuable The Drop became; giving an entire generation a new reason to recycle.
The project didn’t end once people moved in. I curated every new resident, wrote responses in the voice of the neighbourhood, and encouraged strangers to visit each other’s apartments, helping transform an Instagram page into a living community.
